瓜登“达岗饭” Nasi Dagang 饭香四溢

材料:
米(我用的是泰国香米)1公斤
小葱头(切丝)20个
老姜(切丝)150克
葫芦巴籽 1汤匙
新鲜椰浆 1杯
白糖 3汤匙
盐 2汤匙
水 适量

做法:
1)将米饭洗净放在水中浸泡至少4个小时,使米粒更松软。
2)水倒掉后,放在锅中先蒸30分钟。
3)再加入适量的水,继续蒸30分钟。
4)将蒸熟的米饭与葫芦巴籽,姜末和小葱头拌匀后,焖2-3分钟。
5)之后拌入椰浆(加入白糖,盐,1/4杯水搅拌均匀),再蒸10-15分钟即可。

English Translation…

Ingredients:
1kg rice (I used Siamese fragrance rice)
20 shallots (sliced finely)
150g ginger (sliced finely)
1 tbsp fenugreek seeds (halba)
1 cup coconut milk
3 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp salt
water

Methods:
1) Wash rice and soak for 4 hours.
2) Drain well, then steam rice for 30 minutes or until half-cooked.
3) Add more water, continue to steam for another 30 minutes until rice is nearly cooked.
4) Combine shallots, ginger, fenugreek. Stir into the rice, left for 2 to 3 minutes.
5) Stir in coconut milk (already mixed well with sugar, salt, 1/4 cup of water), steam once more for 10 to 15 minutes or until rice is properly cooked.
